Financial and Operational Integration: Users highly praise the platform's ability to create an end-to-end Digital Planning Twin™ that seamlessly connects operational variables (like capacity, logistics, and inventory) with financial metrics (like profitability and contribution to the bottom line). This unique feature helps businesses make decisions based on true financial impact, a key differentiator from many traditional supply chain planning tools.
Prescriptive Modeling Power: The software excels at prescriptive analytics, meaning it tells users the optimal action to take, rather than just predicting an outcome. Testimonials frequently cite its use in making dramatically different decisions that lead to significant profit improvements (sometimes 3-5% of revenue).
User-Friendly Scenario Analysis: The platform is noted for its user-friendly, reliable, and fast scenario modeling. Users can quickly create and analyze unlimited "what-if" scenarios to understand the full financial and operational trade-offs of different decisions, radically shortening the decision-making process.
Accessibility to Business Users: A significant strength is its ability to put the power of open-ended optimization modeling into the hands of business and non-technical users. The visual flow and ease of configuration allow stakeholders from finance, supply chain, and operations to align on and understand the model.
Strong Support from Implementation Teams: Many reviewers commend the responsiveness, flexibility, and technical strength of the vendor team and their partners during the implementation and project phases, especially in complex supply chain network optimization projects.
Support and Documentation: A consistent pain point is the quality and timeliness of support and documentation. Users report that the documentation often does not keep pace with software release features, making it challenging to leverage new capabilities. Furthermore, some users find it difficult to reach someone for an urgent need through the online ticketing system.
Steep Upskilling Time: While the interface is designed for business users, the inherent complexity of building intricate optimization models means it "takes some time to upskill." The tool requires users to invest time to fully master its capabilities due to its depth and powerful modeling structure.
Dashboard Creation: One reviewer specifically noted that the tool "would benefit from having easier way of creating dashboards for planning," suggesting that visualization setup might not be as intuitive as the core modeling functionality.
